Introduction
Research Student Supervisors are required to review and approve their students’ Memorandum of Understanding or Progress and Planned Activity Form before the student can commence their research. Research Student Supervisors are also required report on each of their student’s progress. If the students’ progress is satisfactory, the supervisor is required to update the system to indication the status of the student’s progression. If the progress is not satisfactory the supervisor is required to submit a report comparing the progress to that expected according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Annual Supplement (AS). The report is used by the Faculty Board to determine if the student can be permitted to continue (coded CONT: Academically eligible to continue)
