Supplementary and Deferred Exams Process for Departments

Objectives

Results for supplementary examinations will be entered as updates to the original course enrollment. This means that only one result will be displayed on the student’s transcript. The original result will remain accessible to authorised system users. In this course we will focus on the procedure Departmental Administrators need to follow to ensure supplementary and deferred exam result Course Lists are submitted to the Exams Office in the correct format. The Exams Office will upload supplementary and deferred exam results to the PeopleSoft system.

 

Note

Supplementary Exam and Deferred Exams Results must be submitted to the Exams Office separately i.e. do not send course lists with combined supplementary and deferred exam results on one spreadsheet to the Exams Office. The Exams Office will not accept course lists sent to them in this format.

 

In addition to this, please ensure your spreadsheets are saved in a CSV format by course code name and indicate whether you are submitting SUPP or DE results to the Exams Off e.g. CML2010S-SUPP_Results or ACC1006S_DE_Results.
