OBJECTIVES
By the end of this module, you should:
  1. understand the key physiological concepts underlying bormal breathing;
  2. know how spirometry reflects these concepts;
  3. know how normal lung function may be affected by occupational and other lung diseases;
  4. understand the basis for interpreting spirometric tests.
