Helps to relieve stiffness in the shoulders. Relieves anger and frustration.
- Stand with feet hip-width apart.
- Interlock the fingers in front of the body.
- Breathe in and stretch arms up above the head as if you’re lifting an axe.
- Breathe out fully through the mouth making a “hai” sound as your swing forwards and bring your arms down as you if you are chopping a piece of wood. Bend your knees as your swing to take any strain off your back.
- Breathe in coming up.
- Be aware of your shoulders and chest.
- Repeat four more times.
- Notice how your body feels.
