Helps to relieve stiffness in the shoulders. Relieves anger and frustration.

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart. 
  2. Interlock the fingers in front of the body.
  3. Breathe in and stretch arms up above the head as if you’re lifting an axe.
  4. Breathe out fully through the mouth making a “hai” sound as your swing forwards and bring your arms down as you if you are chopping a piece of wood. Bend your knees as your swing to take any strain off your back. 
  5. Breathe in coming up. 
  6. Be aware of your shoulders and chest. 
  7. Repeat four more times. 
  8. Notice how your body feels.
