  1. Stand up with your arms relaxed beside the body.
  2. Your legs apart, feet slightly wider than hip-width apart. 
  3. Feel the contact of your feet with the ground and the earth. 
  4. Feel the balance of the body standing. 
  5. Breathe easily and fully. 
  6. Bring your attention to your feet and cultivate the feeling of being rooted or connected to the earth. 

The space between your feet forms the base of the triangle and your legs the other two sides. Make the sides strong without tensing your leg muscles – just feel how your legs form 2 strong sides of the triangle, the top of the triangle is just behind your belly button. This is your centre of personal power.

  1. Really feel this triangle that you have made. The base of the triangle is connected to the earth. 
  2. In your own way connect with and feel your power. 
  3. Power is an inner thing – nothing has to change. On the outside you are just an ordinary person standing with your feet apart, but start to feel the power within. This is your triangle of power. 
  4. Hold this position and feel your power for some time. You can do this practice anywhere and it will help you feel strong and less fearful. 
  5. Notice how you feel after doing this exercise.
