Objective: To present results and discuss them with a view to making recommendations for the workplace

Hand in by Monday July 26th

You will need do some more analysis of your data based on inputs you received from the lecturer marking your project as well as colleagues when you presented to them in Block 6.  You now want to re-present your results and discuss them critically and make recommendations to those at the affected workplace about your results and how they should be applied to improving prevention at the workplace. Discuss the descriptive findings and also any associations of health outcomes with exposures.  In the latter case apply Bradford Hill criteria for causality and discuss the limitations of your study in terms of selection bias, information bias and confounding bias.  You are allowed to speculate somewhat on the meaning of your results.  Discuss the implementation of your findings and your recommendations for preventing injury and illness or to promote better occupational health at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.  You should then have a near-final piece of work to present to your colleagues in Block 7 where you will obtain final critical input before you finalise your project for final presentation and hand in in Block 8 just before the final examinations.
