Data Collection and Analysis

Should be a small dataset e.g in the above example the lab has 20 staff members. It does not matter if there are limitations as long as these are identified. The data collected could be related to exposure, effects, or both.

Learning activities:  An example 

EXAMPLE 1   SHOWS HOW EXPOSURE, OUTCOME AND CONFOUNDING VARIABLES CAN BE ANALYSED

EXAMPLE 2 IS FROM A PREVIOUS DOH PROJECT  ON NEEDLE INJURIES IN MACHINISTS IN  GARMENT WORKERS.  The aims and objectives of this project are outlined here.  Evaluation: 

Steps 1 through 6 will count  3  marks each (3x6  = 18), the final report 3 marks, and the final presentation oral 3 marks. This gives a total of 24 marks.

Marks   will be allocated as follows:

3 = Complete, 2 = Progress, 1 = Markedly incomplete, 0 = no hand-in on time
