Researching organisational capacity for disability-inclusive curricula

This poster presents current research into the different ways disability is included in teaching and learning across different disciplines in the six faculties at UCT. Integrating disability in research and service learning opportunities could contribute to shifting disability from a marginal or charitable issue to one of diversity and identity politics. The challenge remains for the project to explore ways in which disability is recognised as a social justice issue towards building global citizenship. The research is funded through VC Strategic Goals Fund.
