Getting started

Welcome to the Clinical Management of HIV course, jointly compiled and presented by the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre, Columbia University-South Africa and the Department of Medicine (UCT).

The complete course consists of four modules (Epidemiology of HIV; HIV Diagnosis; Opportunistic Infections, and ART for the Treatment of HIV), each of which is divided into chapters and sections. It covers every aspect of the management and treatment of HIV in a South African primary healthcare context, based on the most up-to-date knowledge and expertise.
