Screenshots

Screenshots are images of one’s desktop that can be taken as a means to explain and show certain steps or point out specific issues.

How-to guide:

  • Step 1: Open the application or file on your desktop that you would like to take a screenshot of.
  • Step 2: Use the Windows’ Snipping Tool (select from Menu) or use your keyboard buttons:  SHIFT + S + WINDOWS button.

  • Step 3: Using the keyboard buttons - you will then need to open up the Paint application and click on the “paste” function which will show your screenshot.
  • Step 4: Should you need to highlight or circle a part of the screenshot you can use the tools provided in Paint or the Snipping Tool.
  • Step 5: Save.
