Live Demonstrations

The course convener, lecturer or yourself can set up a live demonstration in which students can see what is happening or how to use specific instruments - depending on whether they have access to labs or have or been sent the necessary kits (such as art tools for Fine Art Students).  Please note this will be different for different courses, faculties and disciplines.

To ensure that no student is left behind, please record your live demonstration and upload it as a video on Vula.

How-to guide:

  • Check general guides for live video conferencing tools such as MS Teams, WhatsApp and Zoom

Example:

  • Not applicable

Group settings:

  • Please make sure that you upload the recorded video on Vula so that every group or student has access.

Key points:

  • Include a stretch break in the live demonstration session if longer than 60 minutes.
  • Prepare items to be used where necessary.
  • Record with consent where necessary.
  • Wear appropriate safety clothing where necessary.
