Q&A Tool

The Q&A tool allows you to interact with your students either privately or publicly by asking questions and receiving answers. If it is necessary or beneficial to conceal the identity of those asking questions, select the anonymous setting in the tool options.

One of the key benefits of the Q&A Tool is that all students benefit from questions asked by others. This is beneficial to you as a tutor because you won’t have to answer the same question several times. This also benefits students as they may not have been brave enough to ask or think of the question themselves.

Group Settings:

  • There are no group settings for the Q&A tool.

Key Points:

  • Questions and topics can be categorised (Example: Clustering the questions by content, or by theme such as Admin; Assignments; Topic 1; Topic 2). 
  • You can change settings for students to post and reply anonymously or with their names.
  • Can be used as a space for common questions and answers (FAQ).
