ACTIVITIES:
Background:
Revise your understanding of what a gas is and how it differs from other inhalants. You should be totally familiar with the contents of La Dou, Table 33-1.
- These notes will cover a classification of hazardous gases and some generic features. Specific gases are then covered under the headings: sources of exposure, effects, clinical investigations and treatment, and controls. Revise these notes.
EXERCISES:
- Answer the questions embedded in these notes.
- Do the assignment on Toxic Gases.
