OBJECTIVES

  1. identify Noise Induced Hearing Loss, and,
  2. distinguish it from other causes.

DEFINITION OF NIHL:

Noise Induced hearing Loss (NIHL) is a sSensori-neural hearing loss around 4KHz caused by excessive exposure to loud sounds.
