Under section 9(1)(f) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996), I Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Minister of Minerals and Energy, hereby declare that in my opinion the performance on Sundays of all work necessary and incidental to the crushing and loading of their dolomite waste product at the mine known as Mooiplaasdolomietmyn in the District of Pretoria, in the Province of Gauteng Region, is necessary in the national interest for a period of 12 months from 1 January 2000.
