The UCT Career Information Centre, located at room 1.01 in the Hoerikwaggo Building, North Lane, holds a vast range of career-related resources to help students with study and career choice, and the job search process. Materials include DVDs, videos, books, directories, newspapers, magazines, files and online resources. At the Assessment Centre (Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS), UK; 2009)

These videos show real students and graduates being assessed by actual recruiters in activities which commonly feature at assessment centres. It includes extracts from each exercise, selectors’ verdicts and candidates’ reflections on their own performance. The students are from a wide range of universities and disciplines and include international students.

Big Opportunities in Small Businesses – Graduates in SMEs (AGCAS, UK, 2005)

This video explains how graduates and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can benefit one another. Graduates and their employers relate their own experiences and offer practical advice. There is one programme for graduates, which shows what it's like to work for an SME, and another for employers, which deals with the advantages of employing a graduate and the practical schemes available to support this.
